Offense:
The Mets offense was awful tonight, they got 12 Hits which only produced in 2 runs. They were 1 for 12 with runners in scoring position and they left 11 men on base. The Mets scored their first run in the bottom half of the 7th, as Luis Castillo knocked a single to left which scored Rod Barajas. The Mets second and final run came in the bottom of the ninth, when Angel Pagan blasted a homerun over the right center field wall which was his second of the season.
- Jason Bay continues to struggle as he struck out twice, and also struck out to end the game on a ball in the dirt.
- Though David Wright had two hits, still struck out with the bases loaded and 1 out in the first.
- Jeff Francoeur is 11 for his last 77 after starting off blazing hot.
